Deskpot
Deskpot is a Chrome extension that replaces the New Tab page with a calm, customizable personal desktop for shortcuts, folders, calendars, weather, notes, countdowns, wallpapers, and a growing plant.
What Deskpot does
Deskpot gives every Chrome new tab the familiar freedom of a computer desktop. You can arrange favorite websites, group them into folders, pin daily shortcuts to a dock, and keep useful widgets visible in one place. Deskpot works without creating a Deskpot account or signing in to Google.
Why Deskpot requests Google access
Google access is optional and is requested only when you choose to connect Google Calendar or enable private Google Drive backup. These connections support the features described below and are not used for advertising.
Google Calendar
Deskpot requests read-only calendar event access solely to show your upcoming events inside its calendar widget. Deskpot cannot create, edit, or delete your Google Calendar events.
Google Drive backup
Deskpot requests access only to its private, hidden Google Drive app-data folder so it can save and restore your Deskpot layout and settings. It cannot browse, read, or modify the regular files in your Google Drive.
Your control and privacy
Both Google connections can be disconnected at any time. Deskpot does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it for unrelated purposes. Read the Deskpot Privacy Policy and the Deskpot Terms of Use for complete details.
